About Me

Simran Sood is a leading health coach and an Indian nutritionist who has over 8 years of experience as a professional in the health and fitness industry and is based out in Delhi. On this journey, she has helped more than 3000 clients in achieving their fitness & health goals.

She started her Instagram page @dietstoriesby_simran in 2015 during the last phase of her graduation (B.Sc. in Sports Science & Nutrition) with the sole purpose of providing people with the right knowledge and information about health & fitness. After this she completed her M.Sc in nutrition and dietetics and have done other various courses on functional medicine (which focuses on finding the root cause of the problem and treating it through food). The sole reason to start the Instagram page was to spread the right knowledge and to help as many people, as she could, in improving their health as she faced issues while growing up like weight management, eating disorders and constant gut infections. At that point, no one was providing the right or appropriate knowledge on these topics and she wanted to solve these for people having similar issues. After taking endless blood tests, body checkups and taking courses of all the medication recommended by the doctors, she tried different diets available in the market as well, but nothing was helping her.
That’s when she started experimenting with food and learning more about the importance of how good food along with lifestyle changes can help in healing and improving one’s health. She created very specific nutrition plans after analysing the “ROOT CAUSE” of the issues people were facing and started treating them to have a sustainable healthy life instead of recommending shortcuts to be healthy or fad diets that would resurface problems after a short while.

Today she has helped 3000+ clients in 8 years with issues such as WEIGHT LOSS, EATING DISORDERS (EXCESS CRAVINGS, BINGE EATING DISORDER), acid reflux, chronic constipation, bloating, IBS, IBD, diabetes, PCOD, Estrogen dominance, Hypothyroid (thyroid imbalance), Hashimoto thyroiditis, gut infections-parasitic infections, candida infections, skin issues like Eczema, acne issues, poor skin, nutrient deficiency, brain health (brain fog, excessive mood swings), post pregnancy weight loss and many more.
Her goal is to make people believe and understand that being healthy is neither expensive nor cumbersome to manage with their regular life and work. Anyone can learn how to live a healthy lifestyle without any extra effort, compromising on their social life or having their favourite food.
